Well needless to say... today sucked. I won't go into detail about why and how my day blew dogs for quarters, but I assure you it did. The only thing bouncing around my head now... Sakura-con.

Most of us went last year, aside from Fire Monkey who had insufficient funds, and all of us plan to attend this year, and exploit it to it's fullest. We all had a blast last year, and I feel somewhat nostalgic reminissing on the past. But I plan on making just as many fun memories this as I did last year, if not more. Now that we went through our 'trial' run of Sakura-con, we know what to expect, what to do, and what not to do.

One thing we plan on doing this year that will be different, and a bit daring on more then one account, is the fact that a lot of us plan on cosplaying. Here's a rundown on who's going as whom...

Slacker - Cloud from the Advent Children Trailer

Eijima - Himself, trust me, it's original and scary enough... I was actually surpriesed no-one asked for his picture last year

Monkey - He's going as Hokage-sama from Naruto, ever since he saw the episode where Hokage-sama summoned the monkey, he's been all go... I'm curious to see how he manages to make himself look that old...

Kurai - As himself... in Hakama's... I don't think I need to venture anymore into that. I'm sure he'll be carrying his shinai around with him constantly, and I wouldn't be surprised if people mistake him for Kenshin... although that might flatter him a bit too much.

This year we won't have Chibi-san or his lackeys running around, I assure you this is a good thing, as cool as his aunt was 'supervising' the underaged ones in a drunken stooper from her room, it will be a much more... relaxed year this time around. Last year when we went, we had our weekly LANs going on, so we thought it would be a good idea to bring our computers... nope... not this year. Tomorrow I'm going out to purchase three more controllers, and a brand-spankin-new-hot-off-the-shelf copy of Dead or Alive 3. This way we'll all be in on it in four player battle, well, Sean's going too, so I guess that means one person will have to sit out per round... but that's much better then three. I plan on... 'personalizing' my controller so that I won't have to leave, only I can use my 'personalized' controller afterall!

I plan on bringing my mom's camera to Sakura-con again this year. I also plan on taking a lot more pictures this year. I will have a whole section with photos and blurbs about our trip on Monday. I have school in the morning so it most likely won't get posted until later in the day anyway.

Well we still have one more day to prepare for Sakura-con, all I know is that this year will be a blast, and I'm looking forward to it more then most people probably realize!
